We realize that we have not been very active on our blog lately, but Best Tool & Engineering has been extremely busy with something we are very excited about. We just finished moving all of our Tooling machines to Shop 2. We now have the Office (Payroll, Accounting, HR) and Molding at Shop 1 and Engineering and Tooling at Shop 2. Each shop has its own office with its own phone number and contact, (which can be found on our Contact Us page). We decided to make this change in an effort to be more organized for ourselves and for our customers.
As many of you know, BTE is a start to finish business. What I mean by that is, the customer comes in with an idea, and it goes from the design stage all the way to shipment in our shop. We do not outsource any part of the project to another company (unless the customer desires it). We do everything at our location. Being a start to finish business is very good for the customer, since it means they do not have to worry about chasing down three different people in order to ask questions about the process, but it also has its disadvantages. One of these is the fact that the customer may not know who their primary contact for a certain stage is, and as a result they may have to play a game of Phone Tag in order to find their answers. The other disadvantageis that having everything from start to finish in one shop can lead to overcrowding.
We can honestly say that our customers do not need to fear these disadvantages when it comes to our location. When you choose to work with Best Tool & Engineering, you will be directed to the shop location that suits the stage of the project you are currently working in, and you will be given a primary contact that directly deals with the stage of the project you are in at that time. You will also see that since we have two locations, all of our machines are well spaced out, giving the employees plenty of work space so they can finish your project quickly and efficiently.
If you are worried about getting lost during your project’scycle, since we have more than one location, we can put those worries to bed by telling you that our two locations are only a couple doors away from one another. They are on the same street and the same side of the street in an effort to make them easy for you to find.
We hope that you feel comfortable in our new Engineering and Tooling location, and we look forward to assisting you with your plastic injection molding projects.
