Best Tool & Engineering's Services
Vibration Welding
Our Vibration Welding Services include both Vibration Weld Tool Manufacturing and the production of Vibration Welded plastic parts. We specialize in Low to Mid Volume production or up to 125,000 parts per year. To learn more about our Vibration Welding Tooling Services, click here.
While Best Tool & Engineering has only been around since 1991, our team has been involved with the process since the 1970’s. We’ve built tooling for taillights, glove boxes, door panels, and intake manifolds for the Ford Ranger, F150, Expedition, and many more.
In addition to our production and manufacturing services, we’ve answered the call to offer our technical support on several programs over the years and consider ourselves experts in the field.
Capabilities
Capacity
Our vibration welding machines can accommodate a wide range of part sizes: instrument panels, gloveboxes, air ducts, etc. The tools we design are integrated with electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic components and are then cut and assembled in house.
Just like Injection Molds, Vibration Weld tools can produce multiple parts at once to reduce the price of each part. Although limited, family components can be manufactured simultaneously provided the geometry of the weld surface isn’t too different.
Material/Part Capabilities
Like every process, plastic welding has its limitations. The table shown below offers insight into the parameters and variations of both Vibration and Hot Plate Welding.
Best Tool & Engineering currently provides these two services. To learn more about our Hot Plate Welding Services, click here.

Our Vibration Welding Process
It’s always best to get an expert opinion in the product design phase. Not only does your part need to be reviewed for injection molding, but it also needs to be reviewed for welding applications.
